Richard Johns

Hi I'm Richard, a Mathematics student living in at Josephine Butler College! I am the president of Tabletop games Society as well as the joint president of Woodwind Society. I enjoy playing Table tennis and I am the proudly elected chef of Gaming Society.

Tabletop Games Society President (2017/2018)

The main role of the society president is to organize weekly meetings that the maximum number of members can attend; this involves setting a time and booking a room. The other role involved is to run the meetings, explaining rules of new games, and acting as a 'last word' in disputes, which happen rarely to be honest.

The responsibility of woodwind president is to organise the music we currently own and plan for what new music is to be added to our collection. It is also responsible for organising regular sessions in the music room and helping other members of the society whether during practise or answer queries online.
